Conditions Of Play

The tournament is conducted under the World Bowls Laws of Sport and the BCB/OLBA Conditions of Play with WOBA domestic exceptions.

Eligibility - Players are eligible if they are current members of a World Lawn Bowling Club.

Rulings - By the emergency committee consisting of (3), the President, the Tournament Chairperson and the Draw Master
(or designates).

Competition - This is a Flight competition with all teams guaranteed 4 games when the maximum number of entries are registered.
Byes do count as a game played.
No trial ends but teams may warm up prior to competition on empty rinks not scheduled to play on.

New Woodstock -
Men's Pairs
The mens pairs at Woodstock will play 3 groups of 4 teams .
The 3 group winners plus the next best team will advance to Championship quarter finals on day 2.
Teams finishing 5th though 8th will advance to B Flight quarter finals on day 2.
Teams finishing 9th through 12th will advance to C Flight quarter finals on day 2
A team winning a game will receive two points. A tie shall not be deciced by an extra end , instead both teams will receive 1 point each.
The formula for determining standings:
1=points
2=then shots for / minus shots against,
3=then total shots for,
4=then least shots against
5=if against all odds two teams are still even and a group placing is at stake, then a one bowl roll off to a 80 ft. jack will determine the outcome.

Womens Pairs  
The womens pairs 6 groups of four.
The 6 group winners plus the next 2 highest point teams advancing to the championship quarter finals on day 2.
Teams finishing 9th through 16th will advance to A Flight quarter finals on day 2
Teams finishing 10th through 24th will advance to B Flight quarter finals on day 2
The formula for determining standings:
1=points

Disciplines -
Fours & Pairs - Games played to 14 ends and to a winner.
Singles - Games played to 14 ends or 21 points
( whichever comes first.) Games played to a winner.
**Finals for Singles will be FIRST TO 21 POINTS

Mixed Pairs High Against High

All Finals at Fairmont..Fours and Pairs at 7pm
and 7.30pm for Singles (start times for finals may be subject to change)

Games - All ends open.
